Welcome to the next episode entitled “Corky’s Doggy Jail Interview”. When first captured I spent 1 day in evaluation to make sure I was friendly and healthy, and then a different cage for adoptable dogs. People come to see the adoptable shelter pets and then maybe you get an interview.

I have the secrets for making a hit and I was adopted my first day. Here I am using my lean into the human routine. I didn’t bark because then people worry you’re gonna keep them up at night, and then I let them pick me up any old way without complaining. Lean into them and it works like magic.

A couple of well timed puppy kisses sealed the deal. All pets found dumped on the street have a one week waiting period before the adoption is finalized. The lady in this video I called Soft Petite because she was tiny like me with a soft voice. Her husband was Tall Alpha, much bigger and with a deep voice. I liked them both and later renamed them Mom and Dad.

This is me leaving doggy jail a week after my interview. After saying goodbye to my other puppy and kitty friends I walked the hall for the last time. Soft Petite, (clear throat) I mean Mom, was working, so me and Dad made the 30 minute ride home together.

Wow! In my new home I had THREE beds, a little older brother Sam the Cat, and a family to love. I’ll show my beds and maybe the cat in the next episode. Thanks for watching.
